Arevan
Gender: Female
I am Arevan Ali, a clinical pharmacist. I moved into the primary care network (PCN) in 2022 and joined the organisation in 2023. I work across Hedge End Surgery and Blackthorn Health Centre. I studied a pharmacy degree at the University of Portsmouth and have been a pharmacist for over 16 years, completing my independent prescribing course at King’s College London 11 years ago. I worked at community pharmacies at the beginning of my career and then worked for a surgical independent sector (Practice Plus Group). Where I worked as the lead pharmacist for over 13 years. I enjoy working as a pharmacist especially in primary care, where I get to know the patients and work closely with the rest of the team. My main duties are medications and chronic conditions reviews, and more, to make sure patients are always safe and their medications and conditions are constantly reviewed.
