Gender: Female
I have worked in health and social care for most of my working life. I have specialisms in neurodiversity and eating disorders. I have run nursing homes; set up wellbeing services; and have been a ward manager for a tier 4 CAMHS unit. I have worked with people of all ages, across the life span, with physical illness; mental health difficulties; neurodiversity; life limiting illness; acquired brain injuries; intellectual disabilities amongst many other diverse health needs. I am a qualified life coach; registered mental health nurse; women’s health coach. Furthermore, I have qualifications and training in CBT; DBT; and post grad leadership and management. I have also worked within occupational health for physical health screening and psychological screening for trauma with Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire Fire and Rescue. I believe in looking at the whole person and helping to support them to find their own empowerment to take charge of their recovery, whilst holding hope for them when they require it. I have worked within primary care previously and enjoy helping people of all ages to identify and take charge of their health and wellbeing.
