Gender: Female
My name is Jessica Parker, I am one of the Clinical Pharmacists working in the PCN. I registered as a Pharmacist in 2008, having completed my pharmacy degree at the University of Bath in 2007. I have subsequently completed a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy in 2010 and became an independent prescriber in 2019.
I have spent the majority of my career working at University Hospital Southampton, most recently working as the lead pharmacist for medicine for older people, where I developed a special interest in the optimisation of medicines for this group of people. I have an interest in training and development, supporting the clinical pharmacy team in my current role.
I have been working with the Primary Care Network since February 2020 where I specialise in undertaking clinical medicine reviews and ensuring people are getting the best outcomes from their medicines.
It is great to see the PCN team expanding and to be able to work closely with many different professions.
