In 2015 I was given the opportunity to work on a pilot project as a care navigator in the New Forest locality working out of several GP practices, which entailed providing non-clinical support to patients, this gave me hands on experience and a better understanding of the needs in the community and how the multi-disciplinary teams work together.

I have continued to grow with the organisation stepping into a managerial position in 2019 to support senior management. With the introduction of primary care networks, it has been a great time to join the team especially where the focus has been for services to work collaboratively.
