I started my career as a healthcare assistant working with adults with physical and respiratory disabilities, later developing to a team leader and finally as an assistant manager. I joined the NHS in 2015 and initially worked in 3 local GP practices as receptionist/administrator. In 2017, I started working with Eastleigh Southern Parishes Network Ltd. in the extended access HUB initially as a receptionist, then as medical secretary and on-call manager, providing support with referrals and supporting the HUB team during opening hours.
In 2021, I left my role as medical secretary to undertake a colleague’s maternity cover alongside Kirsty as a Development Support Manager, whilst supporting Kerry with the extended out of hours service. Providing appointments to patients outside of normal practice hours and providing leadership support to medical and non-medical staff within the Primary Care Network.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
